Napa Valley wine tasting

Wine tasting has become a really common thing to do since I've moved here. My sister always makes fun of me and says "Jeez do you do anything other than wine taste?"
HA.
On this particular trip to Napa Valley, all the DG girls rode in a big bus and traveled to 3 wineries. The first was called Siduri where we ended up tasting around 12-15 different wines. Once leaving there we were all feeling pretttttyy good. We then went to Benovia where we tasted and had lunch and we ended the tour with a tasting at Dutton Goldfield, which had some of the best chocolate I've ever had. It's sooo much fun taking a weekend and traveling up to the wine country. Especially when its so cold in the city!!

First Giants game of the season!

I'm a little late posting these pics, but this was Shay's first experience at a Giants game and my first game of the season. We had a great time drinking $10 beers (ugh) and eating GARLIC FRIESSSS! I LOVE Giants game season!

Cesar Chavez at {Chico State}

I felt like I was in college all over again when a few of my friends and I went to Chico State for Cesar Chavez weekend in March. It was fun to re-live college...if only for a weekend!

Bay2Breakers & Birthday Celebration Number 2

One of the most anticipated days of the year fell on my actual birthday this year and I was pretty excited about it. Dressing up and running around SF in the sun sounded good (great) to me. Who doesn't want to do that? My friends and I attempted to dress as the 12 months of the year. We ended up with 8, but thought our costumes were still a success....
Can't wait for next year!!

Turning 23 in Fort Mason

 One of the best birthdays of my life was my 23rd birthday spent in Fort Mason and celebrating Bay to Breakers. I had 4 friends come visit town from Idaho and had a bunch of my SF friends join in on the festivities. I even got red velvet brownies from Emily! (my life was complete)

{Fort Mason}
Literally one of the BEST places to celebrate nice weather in SF! Everyone sets up their blankets, speakers, pong tables, blankets, food, beverages and enjoys the beautiful day!

Las Vegas Babayyy

I made two trips to Vegas this summer and boy was that enough BUT this trip was extra fun-filled. A big group of went together and really maxed out our weekend (or should i say 3 day weekend). Probably a little too long to stay in Vegas, but we had a blasty blast none the less.

{Liquid Pool Party}
This was a great party pool at the Aria hotel. Not as crazy as Rehab or Republic, but still really fun!

{New York, New York}
We bid on 2 rooms at the NY NY on Priceline.com and got a FAB deal! Plus, our rooms were newly remodeled and way nicer than others we saw next door. I've stayed at the Mirage and Monte Carlo before, but thought this one had a great location on the strip with a really fun casino scene.

{Walking the Strip}
We spent one day and night walking the strip. We had a blast looking at all the sites and drinking our tall drinks. The sites never get old. The people watching is also something to look forward to.

{Haze Nightclub: Aria}
No Vegas experience is complete until you hit up the clubs. We only ended up going to one this trip, but it was a blast and we danced the night away!

Straw & Smitten [Hayes Valley]

Straw: Carnival Fare
What's more to love than a wonderful Saturday morning, your girlfriends and some 'carnival fare' brunch. I about died when I saw the menu. This quaint little brunch spot has the craziest menu around!  A hamburger with donuts as buns, red velvet pancakes, tons of grilled cheese options and red velvet tater tots.
YES PLEASE.
Not only was the food fab, but the place was just about the cutest thing I've ever seen. I love creative restaurants and I seriously can't wait to head back.

Smitten Ice Cream.
Of course we had to stop at the outdoor Ice creamery on our way out of Hayes Valley. This place is to die for and they make it right in front of you...... yumm
