Chinese New Year & Wine Tasting

I know its true, I do a lot of wine tasting, but when you live so close to Wine Country its kind of hard not to! A few weekends ago my sorority alumnae group met up and we went wine tasting in the city to a place called August West Winery. Little did I know there are actually wineries in the city. They get their grapes harvested in wine country and then bring them back to the city to make the vino.

After our wine adventure we decided to take a pit stop at the Chinese New Year Parade in ChinaTown which is apparently the biggest festival outside of China. It was crazy!! We saw a lot of fun costumes, dancing and fireworks. I will definitely go to that again!

pit stop in front of the Fairmont Hotel. can we say Bachelor?

Brights come to visit the BAY!

I decided I love when people come to visit me and I get to show them around the city! However, having just moved here, I am a major tourist myself. So, it was a blast when the Bright sisters came and we got to explore the city together!
I got off work early and since I work super duper close to Fisherman's Wharf we hung out around there and decided how we were going to get to all the sites without a bus tour and a car.
Sooo, we walked and climbed hills, and went all around--to new parts of the city I hadn't been.

I had a blast!
