Las Vegas, Again!

Last month I got the chance to go to Vegas for a tradeshow with two other marketing girlies. We worked hard, but had a blast running the cocktail party and tradeshow booth! Vegas work trips are sooo much fun! This trip, we stayed at the Mirage, had our cocktail party at Japonais and went out to the clubs Lavo and 1 OAK. I hadn't been to 1 OAK before but i really liked it. 

I love to travel and since I love marketing its always fun to travel for work! :)

Union St. Festival

Festival season in the city is the BEST! I've been to two so far, but my goal is to make it to all of them. Just about every part of the city has their own kind and I'm excited to see the difference of each one. So far I've been to the North Beach fest and the Union St. Fest. Here we are at the Union St. Festival. A great excuse to enjoy the nice weather, get with great friends, try great food (fried artichoke hearts anyone?), look at art and day drink/eat til our little hearts are content.

Hippie Tree {Tiburon} & ROAM Burger

Okay, I want to take a quick moment and chat about my favorite burger place of all time, ROAM burger. This place has any kind of burger meat you want (bison, elk, veggie, reg) and it has the best toppings in the world. I mean who wouldn't kill for garlic fries with melted cheese on the French and Fry Burger?? So if you are ever in the Cow Hollow/Marina area in SF I seriously recommend it!

Moving on to the Hippie Tree, one of the most hidden places in Marin, according to me. (Took us a while to find, but it was soooo worth it!) I mean, look at that view!!! 

We decided to take a lunch break out of the office and have a picnic at the tree. Of course it was equipped with a swing and a spectacular view. We were obviously very satisfied and didn't want to head back to the office. I love finding hidden treasures like this. 

Hike GG

Nothing is better than San Francisco on a beautiful sunny day.

 Shay, Kurt and I decided to take a hike to Baker Beach one Saturday to relish in the sunlight! We started from Fort Mason, under the bridge and over to Baker Beach. It look a good portion of the day, but was totally worth it and so beautiful!

Napa Valley wine tasting

Wine tasting has become a really common thing to do since I've moved here. My sister always makes fun of me and says "Jeez do you do anything other than wine taste?"

On this particular trip to Napa Valley, all the DG girls rode in a big bus and traveled to 3 wineries. The first was called Siduri where we ended up tasting around 12-15 different wines. Once leaving there we were all feeling pretttttyy good. We then went to Benovia where we tasted and had lunch and we ended the tour with a tasting at Dutton Goldfield, which had some of the best chocolate I've ever had. It's sooo much fun taking a weekend and traveling up to the wine country. Especially when its so cold in the city!!

First Giants game of the season!

I'm a little late posting these pics, but this was Shay's first experience at a Giants game and my first game of the season. We had a great time drinking $10 beers (ugh) and eating GARLIC FRIESSSS! I LOVE Giants game season!

Cesar Chavez at {Chico State}

I felt like I was in college all over again when a few of my friends and I went to Chico State for Cesar Chavez weekend in March. It was fun to re-live college...if only for a weekend!

Bay2Breakers & Birthday Celebration Number 2

One of the most anticipated days of the year fell on my actual birthday this year and I was pretty excited about it. Dressing up and running around SF in the sun sounded good (great) to me. Who doesn't want to do that? My friends and I attempted to dress as the 12 months of the year. We ended up with 8, but thought our costumes were still a success....

Can't wait for next year!!
