HR Tech in Chicago

Chicago is one of my favorite cities. After getting sent their the first time on a  business trip, I totally fell in love. Not only is it extremely clean and beautiful, the food is to die! I had a lot of time to wander around in what happened to be 80 degree weather in March! I felt pretty freakin' lucky.

This time I got to go with more co-workers for a large event called HR Tech. We ended up getting to go to a lot of great parties all over the city. One at the top of the Wit hotel and another at the House of Blues. We especially loved when two of my local friends took us to a speak easy hidden next to a CVS! I can't wait for my next trip to Chi-town!

idaho

Nothing is better than homecoming back in my old college town. I was literally there for 10 hours, but I got to see so many people that the short trip was super worth it. It was great to see my sister and cousin and all of my friends that came back for the weekend and especially the leaves!!! Weird i know... but....I love Autumn and I especially love it in Idaho!

Emily's 25th!

A bunch of us girlies got together a few weeks ago for my friend Emily's 25th birthday party in the city! One of the girls threw an amazing dinner party at her house complete with everything you could ever want made from Pinterest. Sooo awesome! After dinner we hit up Union Street and had a great time bringing in Emily's 25th year!

San Franiversary!

[Tipsy Pig Saturday outing with friends]

These last few months have been a world wind of excitement and adventures. I've been trying to focus solely on what makes me happy and have been trying to be a little more spontaneous or 'spur of the moment'--if you will. Not  only have some of the decisions I've made in the past few months been some of the best of my life, but they've created such amazing stories I can carry forever.  I truly do feel like I live in one of the best cities in the world and feel like it is THE best place for me to be right now in life.

It's about to be my 1 year anniversary of OFFICIALLY living in the city and I seriously can't believe how much I've grown as a person in 1 year. Moving here and not knowing a single person has pushed me to my limits, made me take chances, break out of my shell and truly find out who I am as a person-- confident, independent and passionate about life. I love this place, I love where I'm at in life and love all of the people along for the ride with me. Thank you to to a wonderful year post-grad! I couldn't have asked for a better one.

HAPPY San-Franiversary to me :)

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend in the city was amazing. The weather could not have been better and the company was also wonderful. I ended up spending a lot of time outside on the roof deck or in the park  having a bbq and picnic with friends. I love 3 day weekends and wish they came around more often!

Lake Tahoe

I went to Lake Tahoe for the first time ever in August. People told me how awesome it was, but I didn't really know what to expect. We stayed in South Lake Tahoe at one of my friends cabins for a few nights and I seriously loved it so much! It rained one of the days we were there, but we still went to the beach and swam because it was so warm. Since we were in South Lake we decided to go to the casinos one night which was also a blast! Can't wait to go back in the winter months!

Home Sweet Home

I went home for a few days in July after our trip to Portland. I hadn't been home in a really really long time so I had to pack it all in! I got to see two of my girlfriend's babies, Kinley and Jacob--such cuties! Its amazing I have friends who already have kids! I loved hanging at my house, seeing my friends, sleeping in my own bed and lounging at the lake. It's always so nice to go home even if its for a small amount of time! I miss it!

4th of July in McCall

Nothing, and I mean nothing beats McCall in the summertime. I was so lucky to get to go to the lake this summer to celebrate the 4th of July with all of my family and friends. I can't get enough of the how beautiful it is and how many wonderful memories I have growing up there. Now that I live in SF its harder to split my time from going to all the places I love in Idaho, but this is seriously one of my favorite spots and I already am dreaming of my next trip there! I had so much fun with my family and friends waterskiing, watching fireworks, celebrating birthdays, making s'mores, eating ribs and corn on the cob, seeing my precious little Lucky puppy, celebrating the 4th with my friends on North Beach and relaxing in the sun.
Dreaming of it now....
